Jane is the Program Director for Communications for the Department of Nursing at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where she has worked for over 45 years. As a nurse herself, with experience in critical care and emergency nursing, Jane is praised by her co-workers for her ability to translate medical jargon into easily understandable educational content for patients so that they can better understand their clinical situation. In addition to patient education, Jane is skilled at keeping internal and external audiences informed of key events and initiatives so that the nursing department’s work is celebrated in local and national forums.
