What a night in Greene County! We hosted our inaugural Greene County All-Stars Recognition Dinner—created to honor neighbors who do great work for kids and community every day. Guests enjoyed signature dishes from local cooks, southern sides from Rouse’s Restaurant and an inspiring program celebrating this year's community champions. Congratulations to our 2025 honorees: 🏆 Taylor Moore – Young Professional of the Year 🏆 Greg Ellis – Service to Youth Award 🏆 Kellie Taylor – Pinnacle of Achievement 🏆 Ray Holloman – Citizen of the Year Every dollar raised stays local and powers the Greene County Boys & Girls Club to provide over 115 kids with meals, mentorship, homework help, leadership programs, and more. Special thank you to our generous sponsors who made this event possible: Trillium Healthcare, New Direction Church, JAK Moulding, Shackelford Family Foundation, the Cash Family, Ron & Rose Bowen, and Duke Energy Foundation. As 50 million kids head back to school, half will find themselves without a safe place to go once the final bell rings, left to navigate crucial after-school hours unsupervised. In response, dedicated corporate supporters of Boys & Girls Clubs of America are launching new giveback initiatives to ensure more young people across the nation have access to vital after-school spaces. 🎓 This past Tuesday marked a major milestone for our organization! 🎓 We proudly celebrated our 5th grade Club Academy graduates at the birthplace of Club Academy — Grady-White Boats / E.R. Lewis Family Unit — and honored 10 incredible years of the Club Academy program! 💙📘 To mark the anniversary, our graduates and Academic Success Team sported custom Club Academy letterman jackets, symbolizing a decade of academic excellence and growth. The evening was made even more special by the presence of distinguished guests, including Pitt County Schools Superintendent Dr. Steve Lassiter, Mayor Pro-Tem Monica Daniels, and many more who have supported our journey. In an emotional moment, the team introduced a new honor — The Jamar Sampson Club Academy Tutor Award, presented to a dedicated long-term tutor. Jamar was also celebrated for his hard work and leadership as the founder of Club Academy. 📸 Swipe through the full album to see more highlights of the evening: https://lnkd.in/ed3k_zPC

At our Williamston Club’s Kidpreneur Day, 4th grade through teen members stepped up to the challenge and into the role of young entrepreneurs—bringing their business ideas to life from start to finish. Each participant developed a purpose for their business, created a logo, crafted a catchy slogan, designed business cards, dressed the part, and confidently presented their ideas to an audience. With support from staff and engaged parents who asked thoughtful questions, these future leaders showed passion, creativity, and the drive to make an impact in their communities. Boys & Girls Clubs are proud to help build the next generation of difference-makers 💙 📸 See more pictures of the event here: https://lnkd.in/eEXJazm8 #BGCCP #GreatFuturesStartHere #Kidpreneur
