Together with Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, we’ve launched a new educational campaign to support clinicians navigating these complex conditions. Despite advancements in treatment, unmet needs still exist for patients who remain at risk of stroke, including patients diagnosed with atrial fibrillation or patients at risk of a recurrent ischemic stroke or transient ischemic attack. Factor XIa (FXIa) is a promising new target that may help address these needs. Explore the latest information on the potential of FXIa inhibition: https://bit.ly/3M3QvAP #OneBMS #ISC26

More than 20 years ago, IMiD compounds sparked the evolution of targeted protein degradation (TPD) – opening up new possibilities to transform patient care. Today, we’re pairing our deep expertise with the power of AI/ML in what we call “Predict First” – an approach that’s accelerating every aspect of R&D, including TPD, to focus on advancing and delivering the most promising candidates for patients who need them most. As we begin #BlackHistoryMonth, I’m honored to stand with the Black Organization for Leadership and Development (BOLD) PBRG community to celebrate this year’s theme: Rooted in Legacy. This theme honors a century of Black history and encourages us to turn remembrance into action, letting the achievements of the past guide our future. This week, I look forward to coming together for a conversation with BMS Board Member Paula Price about legacy and the impact of history, innovation, and community on our journeys. Later this month, we’re hosting a professional development roundtable with Amanda Poole, Tania Small, MD, Jamaal Sebastian-Barnes, and Maurice Bellfield to help our community grow together. Throughout the month, we’re also providing volunteer opportunities inviting everyone to deepen our collective impact. I want to express my sincere gratitude to the dedicated BOLD leadership team—Amanda Poole, Tania Small, MD Small, Lorena Kuri, and Phillip Lynch, MBA—for creating these meaningful initiatives. Their commitment shows the power of unity and the importance of uplifting every voice. I encourage all my colleagues to join us this #BlackHistoryMonth for opportunities to learn, reflect, and build a stronger, more inclusive community. Together, let’s honor legacy, embrace growth, and thrive as one. #ProudToBeBMS #BlackHistoryMonth
