Brookfield Renewable recently hosted the inaugural in-person Wind Power and Solar Power Workshop at the Deriva office in Charlotte, NC. We are grateful to our colleagues from Deriva Energy, TerraForm Power, Scout Clean Energy, OnPath Energy, Brookfield Renewable Global Corporate and Brookfield Renewable North America who dedicated their time to this collaborative event. Over three days, we focused on the Wind Power and Solar Power Working Groups and had the opportunity to visit the impressive Speedway Solar site owned and operated by Deriva Energy. The objective of the working groups is to establish a collaborative platform where energy experts from our various Portfolio Companies can exchange knowledge, resources, and expertise. Our focus was on best practices in technology, development, operations, and maintenance, fostering innovation and ongoing improvement. The sessions brought dedication, insights, and enthusiasm, making it a truly enriching experience.
