We're getting hyped for NYC, and we hope you are too! “I’m looking forward to the crowd. The energy. There’s nothing like New York. It means a lot to start here — because New York is where it all started for me.” Coached by legendary marathoner Des Linden, actor and singer Anthony Ramos is set for an unforgettable run through his hometown. From Brooklyn’s neighborhood bars and Broadway blocks to the finish line in Central Park, watch Anthony as he trains with Des, reflects on the city that shaped him, and prepares to take on the TCS New York City Marathon in front of family, friends, and fans. Two icons. One big finish. All the energy. #LetsRunThere

About us
Let’s run there is an invitation to feel like our favorite selves. It’s a challenge to venture where we’re scared to go. And it’s a promise to never remain idle. That’s why, for 110 years, Brooks has pushed the limits of motion science, engineering, and technology to create gear that helps get you there— whether it's a headspace, a feeling, or a finish line. Our company culture defines us, bonds us together, and drives our success. We live this culture daily through our brand values: Runner First, Word is Bond, Champion Heart, There is no “I” in Run, and Keep Moving. This means we always solve for the runner, do what we say we will, give it our all, are generous with our humanity, and find a way to keep moving every day, because joy is kinetic. The shoes and gear we develop, the experiences we create, and the partnerships we build should help make the run inclusive and accessible for all. We are taking a comprehensive and strategic approach to ensure our values are represented in our sport. We are committed to reducing barriers to participation in the run, the running industry, and the running community.

Brooks Running reposted this
The very first MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks is in the books, and what a debut it was. With 28,500 runners, 150,000 spectators, and three unforgettable days of energy, Munich turned into a city-wide celebration of running, community, and everything Brooks stands for. The festivities kicked off with the Brooks x KRAFT Runners Community Run, proving once again that Brooks doesn’t just sponsor events, we become part of them. Another highlight followed with the Friendship Run by Brooks x parkrun. With 1,000 participants, it became the largest parkrun ever held in Germany, a milestone that perfectly captured the spirit of inclusivity and togetherness that defines the Brooks community. At the Brooks Running House, part of the Runners Festival by Brooks in Munich’s Olympic Park, visitors immersed themselves in the brand world with Get Ready With Brooks services, T-shirts personlization, games and Brooks Run Club perks. At our Test & Try tents, runners experienced Brooks innovation first-hand, with a variety of test shoe models (many of them crossing the finish line on race day). The Brooks Truck operated in partnership with Sporthaus Schuster GmbH, inc. personalized embroidery with every shoe sale. And then there was the Hype Zone at Odeonsplatz with DJ, cheering items, and an unstoppable Brooks Crew that cheered on runners five times as they passed this historic site. Our Brooks Road Runners didn’t just participate, they delivered some of the most inspiring performances of the weekend. Marathon - Nina Voelckel – 1st place, 2:31:33 - Florian Bochert – 2nd place, 2:20:11 Half Marathon - Abdirahman Mohamed – 2nd place, 1:04:12 - Tim Wagner – 5th place, 1:06:47 - Carolien Millenaar – 3rd place, 1:15:19 10K Race - A total takeover from our team: MEN - Antonin Marquant (1st) - Sander Vercauteren (2nd) - Nicolo Bedini (3rd) - Leander Fink (4th) - Marius Abele (5th) - Sebastian Nygaard (6th) WOMEN - Julie Voet (2nd) - Alberte Pedersen (3rd) - Kiara Nahen (4th) - Melissa Fracassini (5th) When the final green light came on July 9, our teams had just over three months to plan, activate, and deliver the first MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks. What truly made this debut special were the people behind it. The success of this weekend was the result of extraordinary teamwork and commitment across our Central Territory and EMEA teams. What followed was a masterclass in collaboration between the Brooks Crew, the organizer, suppliers, volunteers, content creators, speakers, the media, and of course - a record number of runners who showed up and brought our idea to life. A big Thank You to my team, especially Laura Haake & Britt Roggatz, along with Christopher Becker, Knut Simons, Benedikt Bauer and their respective teams. Thank you Fabian Schaefer, Laura Bauer, Anton Martić, Matthias Strauss, Una Schneider for choosing Brooks Running as your partner in crime - I can’t wait for next year! And last but not least, thank you Munich for being such a great host!

Over the course of five days, more than 400 HQ-based employees volunteered a combined 750 hours, partnering with local organizations to make a meaningful difference. Last month we announced the Cascadia Elite which will be available in March 2026! Now meet Megan Alfi, Run Research Performance Scientist at Brooks. Here's a glimpse into her work and a little more about the Cascadia Elite! ⚡What do you work on as a Run Performance Research Scientist? In my role, I study how runners interact with our shoes, including everything from biomechanics and performance to how a product fits and is perceived by runners. I work closely with developers, designers, and other researchers to bring data into decisions about midsole geometries, lug placement, and all the little details that shape the running experience. At the moment, most of my work focuses on the Brooks trail line, along with some inline and innovation projects. ⚡ What is special about the Cascadia Elite? The Cascadia Elite is full of firsts for our trail line. It combines ultra-light, responsive DNA GOLD cushioning, a carbon-infused Pebax SpeedVault+ Trail Plate, a MATRYX engineered upper, and a Vibram Megagrip Elite outsole. So much intention went into the midsole and lug geometries, giving it a great ride and highly rated traction. All of that comes together for a shoe that’s notably lightweight yet still provides a stable, confident ride on rugged terrain. ⚡ What type of research did you do for this shoe? For the Cascadia Elite, we worked closely with the athletes on our Global Brooks Trail Team to test the shoe in real-world conditions. They helped us conduct outdoor field tests on the trail, in-lab assessments, and long-term wear testing during their training and races. We paired these on-foot tests with mechanical testing measurements of the shoes to understand properties like energy return and bending stiffness. Feedback over multiple rounds guided the key adjustments we made to the final design. ⚡ What was the trickiest part of this process? Building this shoe on an accelerated timeline was definitely a challenge, but we made every round count. We had to find the right balance between speed and stability on technical terrain, and it took a lot of intention from the start and iteration to get *just* right. We drew on lessons from past trail models, insights about the new materials, and athlete feedback to fine-tune the design. In the end, all those collaborative adjustments helped us create a shoe we’re really proud of. ⚡ What was your favorite process of working on this shoe? As a researcher, I love pulling together all of the data and feedback from our athletes and finding the common threads we can act on to dial in the product. It was amazing seeing them reach for the shoe to race in so early in development for a range of different use cases (sometimes even before we had their exact size!) because they trusted it to support them across different terrains and distances. Fun fact - during testing, the athletes collectively climbed over 367,000 feet/111,800 meters of elevation in the prototypes just during races alone! #LetsRunThere

The World Athletic Championships 2025 in Tokyo wrapped the other week and we are still buzzing about the hype. Fans and athletes got to experience our Hyperion House, demo runs, podcasts, community connection through our partnership with Future Run, and so much more! Not to mention we couldn't be more proud of the grit and determination our athletes showed on the global stage. #LetsRunThere

Another quarter, another NEO (New Employee Orientation). At Brooks, onboarding goes beyond introductions on day one. Run quarterly, this three-day event hosts speakers from all over the company to give new employees insights into different business functions. To cap off the event, the group joined other Brooks employees for a fun run/walk around the Seattle HQ office and a happy hour. Thank you Adam Parnell, Senior HR Programs Manager, for all the work you do to bring this experience together for new hires. #LetsRunThere #BrooksLife #Onboarding
