As Asia’s influence on culture, innovation and economic policy grows, global companies are being challenged to navigate a far more complex reputation landscape — one where politics, technology and culture intersect. The “Asia’s Power Pivot” panel @PRAXIS Asia-Pacific explored how organizations can stay credible, resilient and relevant amid these shifting dynamics. 👉 Here are five key takeaways from the session: 1️⃣ Reputation is now geopolitical. In a multipolar world, how your brand is perceived in Beijing or Washington may differ dramatically, yet consistency of purpose must be manifest in every message. 2️⃣ Anticipate the politics of technology. As AI becomes both a growth engine and a geopolitical flashpoint, companies need frameworks for risk mapping, scenario planning and transparent governance. 3️⃣ Balance divergent stakeholder expectations. Cultural, national and political divides will continue to pull companies in different directions. The ability to engage without crossing redlines and to localize without fragmenting is vital. 4️⃣Elevate to the boardroom and c-suite. Corporate affairs is now central to business strategy. We also talked about the skills needed for this new era, which is less a technical conversation than a pragmatic one centered on applying AI to any given profession.
