[French Sport Days] Before heading to a series of meeting with local stakeholders, our delegation attended an insightful masterclass on strategies for entering the U.S. market. The session covered key aspects of taxation, legal frameworks, and marketing approaches tailored to American business dynamics. The masterclass concluded with feedback from Sebastien Abonnel (LAB FIVE), Thibaud Coudriou (Red Bull) and Fabien Reille (Steady Solutions), three French people based in Los Angeles in the sports market. [French Sport Days] We had an exceptionally insightful day at our French-American Sports Innovation Symposium, hosted at the National Football League (NFL) Offices in Los Angeles, that brought together leading voices from both sides of the Atlantic to explore the future of sport through the lens of cooperation, innovation, and Olympic legacy. 🎯 Our goal? To build on the momentum of Paris 2024 and prepare for Los Angeles 2028 by fostering meaningful exchanges between French and American stakeholders. 🗓️ Highlights from the program included: 🔹 An opening speech by Alexandra Dublanche, Vice President of the Région Île-de-France, reflecting on the legacy of Paris 2024. 🔹 A kickoff panel on Los Angeles’ ambitions for the sports sector and Franco-American cooperation, featuring Veronica Pugin (Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC)), Consul General of France in Los Angeles Adrien Frier and a representative from the NFL Stephanie Hsiao. 🔹 A roundtable on upcoming major sporting events in North America, exploring innovation needs and fan priorities with Julia Durham (LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games), David Francis (Jetr Global Sports + Entertainment), Arnaud Courtier (Comité National Olympique et Sportif Français (CNOSF)), and Alexandra Dublanche, Vice President of the Région Île-de-France. 🔹 A second roundtable on emerging sports trends in the US and France, from soccer and rugby to gender equity: Laura Flynn (Angel City FC), Todd Clever (Rugby Tens), and a representative from the NFL Stephanie Kwok. 💡 Sharing our visions for the future of sports was truly inspiring.
