That’s a wrap on today’s CQC Improvement Coaching Workshop! 👏 Participants spent the day deepening their skills in equity-centered quality improvement, including: 🔹 Exploring how the Model for Improvement can guide equitable change 🔹 Developing SMARTIE goals 🔹 Designing measurement plans to track disparities 🔹 Conducting root-cause analyses to identify change ideas 🔹 Applying these tools through a small test of change (PDSA cycle) We’re inspired by the energy and collaboration from this cohort and can’t wait to see how these skills strengthen improvement work across California. Partnering with patients is essential to advancing equity in care. CQC’s latest implementation spotlight highlights how practices in Los Angeles County embedded the patient voice into their quality improvement work with support from the Equity and Quality at Independent Practices program.
