The Endowment identifies and funds the most effective organizations that help unemployed veterans find great careers.
About us
The Call of Duty Endowment is a non-profit foundation co-founded by Bobby Kotick, the CEO of Activision Blizzard, and helps veterans find high-quality careers by supporting groups that prepare them for the job market and by raising awareness of the value vets bring to the workplace. Since 2009, the Endowment has funded the placement of more than 50,000 veterans into jobs, with average starting salaries in 2018 of over $58,000, 1.9x the national median. Our goal is to place 100,000 veterans in high-quality jobs by 2024. The Endowment uses a performance-driven approach to fund organizations delivering the highest standards of quality and cost-efficient veteran job placement services. Beyond funding, we also partner with our grantees to provide an array of advice and support aimed at maximizing their impact.

Call of Duty Endowment reposted this
The BLS says veteran unemployment is just 3%. The truth? As a practical matter, it’s over four times higher. We can’t keep hiding behind false numbers; it’s time to confront the real veteran employment and underemployment crisis and invest in what actually works.

“You should not do this by yourself. We are not so great, as veterans, at asking for help but there are amazing resources that we’ve identified. What are the things a veteran has to do to land a high-quality job? Two of those steps became very important: One is creating a resume/LinkedIn profile that is going to market you well Interview practice. We then set out to find organizations that proved to us that they are great at those two things.” - Dan Goldenberg, President of the Call of Duty Endowment Thanks for having us on Veteran Made podcast, Carey Kight!
