💡 Calling all credit union marketers and storytellers! This week’s snow and ice storms reminded us how much credit unions step up when members and communities need them most. At Callahan, we want to capture and celebrate those moments through 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 — a collection of authentic stories that show the heart of our industry. Do you have moments worth sharing? We’re especially interested in stories like: • Staff going above and beyond during weather-related disruptions • Emergency support for members or community-wide response efforts • Small, meaningful interactions that reflect your credit union’s values in action No need for polished perfection; we value 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗯𝘂𝘇𝘇𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱. It’s reshaping how credit unions show up for members and support the people who serve them. Used well, AI doesn’t replace the cooperative spirit at the heart of the movement — it strengthens it by helping teams focus on what matters most. In our latest article, we explore how credit unions can apply AI with intention. When guided by mission and values, AI becomes a tool for better work and deeper connection, supporting teams behind the scenes while preserving the human relationships members trust. 🔹 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Read the full article here → https://lnkd.in/etMkx6sS 🔹 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱? Purpose matters. So does where you experience it. That’s why the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 is especially meaningful — hosted at University Federal Credit Union in Austin, TX. When an event focused on purpose is grounded in a credit union and community that actively live it, the conversations go deeper, the connections are stronger, and the impact lasts longer. We’re grateful to be hosted by Michael Crowl and Monica Maldonado Williams and the entire UFCU team this February. 📅 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟭–𝟭𝟯 | 📍 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻, 𝗧𝗫 ⏳ Only a few seats remain to join us! In “𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁,” a frontline team member noticed something was off during what should have been a routine withdrawal. Her curiosity and compassion uncovered a more serious situation: a member was being targeted by a scam. By gently stepping in, explaining what was happening, and offering support, she not only protected the member’s finances — she gave her peace of mind when it was needed most.
