We've begun an exciting partnership with Hyundai Motor Company and Canvas Worldwide around AI for Search using Making Science's Ad Machina platform. Creating personalized copy at scale has been a real gamechanger on performance. As Sean clearly states, "we're just getting started"! #AI #Advertising #DigitalMarketing #PerformanceMarketing #Hyundai #hyperpersonalization #personalizationatscale
Driving Relevance and Growth: Insights from Sean Gilpin, CMO of Hyundai Motor Company 🚀 Sean highlights a persistent challenge in digital advertising: "Achieving true relevance at scale for complex customer journeys. Writing unique ad copy for every search keyword simply isn't scalable, often leading to generic messaging that fails to connect with individual needs." That's where Making Science, in partnership with Canvas Worldwide, stepped in. Our proprietary AI tool, ad-machina, allowed Hyundai to: 🚀 Personalize at scale 👩💻 Uncover high-intent searches 🧪Adapt in real-time The impact? It's a game-changer. Stoked to share that I’ll be speaking on "The Power of Your Voice: How to Raise Ethical Issues in Advertising" panel at the Ethics in Advertisement Summit 2025. (AAF Los Angeles x Canvas Worldwide) We’ll be chatting about what it really means to speak up, ask tough questions, and keep ethics front and center in an industry that moves quite fast and influences so much. I’m looking forward to talking about how we can make space for those conversations — the uncomfortable but necessary ones — that lead to more honest, human, and ethical work. It’s going to be a great discussion with people who truly care about doing better in our industry. Hope to see some familiar faces there!

Finish this sentence: By the end of 2025, AI will have completely changed _______? Yesterday, our Chief Product Officer Greg Johns joined leaders from MiQ and Roku on stage at the MiQ Sigma Roadshow in LA for a deep dive into the state of AI, including the best uses cases we are seeing so far, and what comes next! And believe us… that question above had some fantastic answers. Thank you so much to UCLA’s Chief Data & AI Officer Chris Mattmann, for moderating and to fellow panelists @Hari Sankar and Marion Hargett for exploring how AI is reshaping the media landscape — from unifying fragmented data to enabling faster, smarter decisions.

This week I had the privilege of helping to launch Zillow Elevate (a new full suite of media options both on AND off the platform) — and as a part of that launch, guiding a thought leadership session at Advertising Week New York with a group of brilliant collaborators: Zillow, Marvel Entertainment, and Google Big thanks to: 🏡 Brent Rosso — for showing how Zillow supports dreamers at every step 🦸♀️ Patrick Morris — for bringing storytelling front and center in building authentic connections 🔍 Kara (Duffy) Fassrainer — for illuminating how intent signals can become pivotal brand moments Our conversation centered on one big idea… there are two intertwined journeys: 1. The Consumer Journey (Dream → Plan → Act) 2. And the Brand Journey (Signal → Story → Scale). To meet people meaningfully in these moments, we leaned into what I like to call the 3 Cs of Marketing Nirvana: 👉 Context – showing up in the right moment, not just the right channel 👉 Content – making stories that feel native, not like ads 👉 Contact – using the most powerful signals to reach people when mindset and message align We explored how brands can connect emotionally and effectively from the first spark of a dream to the final move… all using signals, stories, and scale to bridge inspiration with action. And the messy middle is where it all happens. So, we have to find it. Shape it. And show up in it! Grateful to share the conversation with this crew and excited to see where these ideas lead next, especially with the momentum behind Zillow Elevate! Congratulations to Ravi Kandikonda, Shannon Jiang, Leslie Hart, Chanda Martin, Rico Farmer, Vanessa Bohlscheid, Madison Donahue, Ed Wild, Beverly Jackson and Brent Rosso!
