Updates

  • Capital employees from our NorCal, SoCal, and Denver locations had an incredible time touring the Roseburg Forest Products Mill in Oregon! They kicked things off at Nordic Veneer in Eugene, where they saw douglas firs transformed into veneer sheets. Then, they visited Roseburg’s Riddle Engineered Wood plant to learn how RFPI joists and RigidLam LVLs are made. The next day, the team ventured deep into the woods for a forestry tour, exploring three logging sites where trees are grown and harvested for plywood and EWP. A huge thank you to Roseburg for hosting us – it was a fantastic learning experience for everyone!

  • Sadly, Shane Jenkins, Product Manager in Tacoma, is leaving us. While we’re excited for him, he’ll definitely be missed! His expertise in his craft and the amazing 3D prints and etchings he shared with us always kept things interesting. Best of luck on your next chapter, we all wish you the best!
