At CapSen Robotics, we have developed the CapSen PiC- a cutting-edge combination of 3D vision, collision-free motion planning, and control software. CapSen PiC gives robots spatial intelligence for pick and place applications. Our software enables robot arms to handle objects of a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and orientations – even when they are small, flat, shiny, or entangled. It provides the most advanced 3D vision and motion planning abilities in its class, with support for highly complex packaging, machine tending, and assembly tasks that go far beyond simple pick and place.     I’m happy to share that I wrapped up an enriching internship at CapSen Robotics, and I’m excited to continue my journey with them as a part-time Co-op! During my internship, I had the opportunity to implement the latest developments in robotics, where I: - Developed a custom end-to-end RL-based robot learning framework for industrial robot, in Isaac Lab for a reaching task and enabled Sim2Real transfer by deploying the trained policy safely on hardware. - Built an end-to-end pipeline with a stereo vision camera and implemented a Foundation Vision Model to generate point clouds accurate enough to estimate object poses. A big thanks to my mentors and colleagues at CapSen Robotics for their constant guidance and support.
