  • Falls Prevention Week (15–19 Sept) is a reminder that, even with the best precautions, falls can still happen which is why being prepared matters, here are a few tips. If you do fall and you're not hurt: • If you can, roll onto your hands and knees and use something sturdy to get up slowly • Take it slowly, don't rush • Always let your GP know about your fall, even if you’re not hurt If you’re injured or unable to get up: • Use a personal alarm, like Carecall, to summon help immediately • If you don’t have one, knock on a wall or floor to alert neighbours • Call a friend, family, neighbour, or if needed 999/111 • While waiting for help, keep warm with a blanket or coat, and try gentle movements to maintain circulation Age UK have a great guide which you can download: https://lnkd.in/eTrjBtHf
