✈️ Back for round two! For the second year in a row, Casella employees came together from across our footprint to participate in the 2025 Travis Mills Foundation Plane Pull, joining forces to support post-9/11 recalibrated veterans and their families. Our partnership with the Travis Mills Foundation continues to grow, inspired by SSG Travis Mills’ moving address at our 2024 Operations & Maintenance Summit. Together, we’re turning strength into support and teamwork into impact.

Answering the Call: Customer Care’s Muranda Kleis 📞 Muranda Kleis has built her career on a simple but powerful foundation: empathy, collaboration, and a genuine love for helping others. From her first days as a Customer Care Representative at Casella, Kleis stood out, not just for her calm demeanor and quick problem-solving, but for her ability to connect with people during their most stressful moments. Now serving as a Customer Care Technical Support Manager, she’s a driving force behind the systems and strategies that empower her team to deliver service that’s both efficient and deeply human. 🎙️ "When you call Casella, there is a real person with their own struggles and life challenges answering the phone. We put all that aside and work to ensure we are solving the issue put in front of us," said Kleis. "We really care about every customer. We advocate, follow up, and strive for the best possible outcome for you. Our team makes me proud every single day."

In recognition of National Manufacturing Day, Casella celebrates the essential role that recycled materials play in strengthening the manufacturing supply chain. From critical infrastructure to everyday consumer products, recycled inputs are a driving force behind sustainable production. ♻️ We're proud to celebrate the innovators shaping a more sustainable future, including our very own Rachel Ashworth, Director of Operations for Resource Solutions, who was recently featured in the Recycled Materials Association (ReMA)'s Jobs of Tomorrow series. In the episode “Blueprints for a Greener Future: Revolutionizing Paper Recycling,” Rachel joins fellow paper recycling experts to advance industry standards and meet the rising demand for sustainable paper packaging. 📦💡 #NationalManufacturingDay #RecycleBetter

When a mom submitted a small request, a birthday beep from her son’s favorite trash truck, our Millsboro, DE team didn’t just show up, they went above and beyond. ✨ What began as an online inquiry turned into a joyful celebration filled with smiles, gifts, and unforgettable memories. 🎂 River, a young boy who knows every part of a Casella truck by heart, was treated to a one-of-a-kind visit from his favorite crew members, Ventura and Tashawn, the waste and recycling professionals he admires most. From honking horns to heartfelt hugs, the weekend surprise was a testament to the power of showing up. As River beamed with excitement, his family and neighbors witnessed firsthand how small gestures can make a lasting impact and what true community looks like, where trust is built not just through service, but through shared moments that matter.
