AI isn’t waiting for symptoms. It’s spotting illness before you’re even sick. Yesterday at HLTH Inc., Ellen Knapp sat down with leaders from Aidoc (Elad Walach), Northwell Health (Jill Kalman, M.D.), the American Heart Association (Jennifer Hall), and Health Data Analytics Institute (HDAI) (Nassib Chamoun) to talk about how predictive analytics is changing the game in healthcare. 💡 The idea: stop waiting for symptoms to show up. AI is now spotting risks before they turn into ER visits, sometimes before you even realize you’re sick. It’s ingesting patient data streams faster than any human ever could, surfacing patterns we’d never see, and building risk profiles that feel almost psychic. After the panel, Ellen unveiled this year’s Digital Health 50, and the conversation carried straight through. The companies leading healthcare forward are building exactly what we’d just been discussing: 🔮 Tools that shift care from reactive to preventive with earlier detection and remote access. ⚙️ Automation that frees clinicians to actually act on predictions. 🔐 Infrastructure that helps AI scale responsibly in a regulated space. 🗣️ Voice agents that make proactive care accessible from the first patient interaction. The future of medicine isn’t about predicting the next crisis. It’s about making sure it never happens in the first place. → Download the full Digital Health 50 report here: https://lnkd.in/e_tTgu8Z

The partnerships defining the future of health are being built at HLTH USA! Looking at key business relationships between companies at #HLTHUSA 2025, AWS, NVIDIA, and Microsoft have become the gravitational centers of the partnerships that are driving AI-first healthcare innovation. These partnerships are strategic bets that will change the course of healthcare and life sciences with AI. Big tech companies are offering access to foundational models, compute, and infrastructure at scale, while healthcare AI companies are choosing to focus on clinical applications, not building infrastructure. The next generation of health companies is being built as AI-native platforms rather than traditional healthcare software with AI features bolted on. This architectural shift is only possible through deep integration with big tech infrastructure and capabilities. As healthcare AI continues to evolve, companies that can successfully leverage these big tech partnerships while maintaining their clinical focus and regulatory compliance will likely dominate the market. The combination of healthcare domain expertise with big tech's AI infrastructure and computational resources is creating a new category of healthcare companies that are fundamentally more powerful than what either sector could build independently. A huge part of conferences is building new partnerships and winning business. We’re excited to put CB Insights' predictive intelligence at the center of the conference to help you identify and build the partnerships that will define the next wave of innovation across healthcare. ℹ️ Visit us at Booth 2412 for all of your conference intelligence needs, including full data on the companies on the expo floor!

HLTH USA starts Sunday! Excited to be moderating a panel on The New Healthcare Deal as a part of CB Insights' partnership with the conference to bring predictive intelligence on the future of health to the center of the conference experience. The panel with Frederique Dame (GV (Google Ventures)), Brenton Fargnoli, M.D. (Lightspeed), and Lenard Marcus (Edison Partners) will help us examine the current healthcare deal landscape and how AI has accelerated deal timelines, inflated valuations, and shifted health tech companies from selling software to selling workloads, and how investors are approaching value creation and exit timelines. The rest of the conference week will be filled with two more awesome sessions from Ellen Knapp, including the launch of the Digital Health 50 and probably more spontaneous meetings at the hotel gym than any other conference I've been to (this is a health conference after all...) If you'll be at HLTH and want to meet up to talk about the latest insights on the future of health, drop me a comment or a DM. P.S. If anyone knows someone who is working on anti-aging for digital bobbleheads, I'll invest immediately.
