We had an unforgettable evening at A Night Out with The Chick Mission in Connecticut. Jaime Knopman opened up about her personal journey with breast cancer and shared the inspiration behind her book, “Own Your Fertility.” Her experience gave her a deeper understanding of her patients and the challenges they face, making her work even more personal. The night was full of hope, empowerment, and connection, reminding all of us that every journey matters and that knowledge can transform lives.

Let's give a warm CCRM welcome to Dr. Kelly Ryan, the newest addition to our extraordinary team of minimally invasive gynecologic surgeons at CCRM Dr. Charles Miller & Associates in Naperville, Illinois. Dr. Ryan received her medical degree and completed her residency at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, where she won multiple awards for teaching and mentoring medical students and OBGYN residents. She enjoys performing surgery that yields relief and improves fertility for her patients and building lasting relationships with them as she follows them throughout various stages of their lives. Her varied research topics include recovery after a C-section, adenomyosis, and early pregnancy loss. Fun fact: Dr. Ryan was an All-American on the women’s swimming team 🏊 at Notre Dame, and she and her husband are now trying to pass the swimming gene onto their two young daughters! We’re thrilled to have Dr. Ryan bring her expertise, compassion, and energy to our CCRM Naperville team. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to recognize the strength of those impacted by breast cancer and the importance of supporting their family-building goals. Facing a breast cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming and uncertain, but it should never mean letting go of the dream of becoming a parent. CCRM provides guidance and support to help make parenthood possible after treatment. This month, CCRM is honoring those affected by breast cancer.
