CENTER's packaging design for SwimClub. The identity pairs scientific precision with human warmth. The branding uses tile motifs referencing DNA bases, while also nodding to the lanes of an Olympic pool - a visual metaphor for “diving into” the gene pool. SwimClub is the first-ever sperm performance supplement to hit the market that seeks to give men the tools and confidence they need to grab their reproductive health by the balls and take a more active part in conceiving. To bring the fertility company to life, SwimClub and Squared Circles teamed with the Brooklyn-based brand design company CENTER. At the core of the brand are visual references not only to DNA sequencing but also to pool tiles. Rectangles represent the four bases in DNA—adenine (A), cytosine (C), guanine (G), and thymine (T)—and they crafted a wordmark using those tiles. Branding for SwimClub by CENTER 💧 When it comes to fertility, men’s health is half of the equation. However, fertility is perceived to be predominantly a woman’s issue. SwimClub is here to address this gap, educating and equipping men with the knowledge and confidence to take ownership of their role in the reproductive journey. Referring to DNA sequencing, the tiles represent the bases of the human genome with a sporty nod to the tiling of an Olympic pool. Prompting one to dive into the gene pool.
