This powerful, Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning rock musical offered an honest, moving portrayal of a family’s journey with mental illness, shining a light on the realities of bipolar disorder, the ripple effects on loved ones, and the hope that resilience can bring. Our team in Jackson County, IN spent a day at Camp Pyoca in Brownstown recharging and reconnecting! From a playful “guess the item” challenge and a Johari Window activity to a collaborative SWOT analysis, the retreat was packed with teamwork and creativity. Both the U.S. House and Senate have passed the SUPPORT Act Reauthorization, extending the landmark 2018 law that strengthens prevention, treatment, and recovery programs for people impacted by opioid use and other substance use disorders. This reauthorization: • Expands life-saving treatment and recovery services • Supports the behavioral-health workforce through the STAR Loan Repayment Program • Funds critical community recovery initiatives nationwide Centerstone applauds Congress for reaffirming its commitment to timely, compassionate care for those affected by the opioid epidemic.
