Restoring Lives Impacted By Trauma.
About us
The Children & Family Advocacy Center was established after the merge of the Children's Advocacy Center of Benton County and Restoration Village, two long-standing non-profits dedicated to restoring the lives of those impacted by trauma. In 2023 the two organizations merged to better serve their community as ONE TEAM. ONE MISSION. ONE VOICE. The Children & Family Advocacy Center's purpose is to empower those impacted by trauma by providing a safe place to receive comprehensive services through a coordinated team approach from dedicated trauma-informed professionals.

What does community impact look like? Take a moment to relive In It to End It, last week's incredible event: 🩵 Over 400 amazing attendees 🩵 Our first-ever live auction - and the amazing thrill of the bid! 🩵 Our most successful silent auction to date We are deeply grateful to every donor, supporter, and friend who made this possible. Your generosity and belief in our mission are the heart of everything we do - and the reason we are able to continue to offer services, at no charge, to those impacted by trauma.

Thank you Stephanie Morris for speaking on the importance of our collaborative partnership with NorthWest Arkansas Community College and the critical impact funding cuts have on our ability to expertly train and reach community members through education and awareness. Our comprehensive approach extends beyond our walls and into the community - from trainings to partnerships, our team shows up to help spread awareness on how to respond to and recognize trauma, be prepared for difficult conversations, and bring in professionals if the situation needs. These opportunities are all thanks to our amazing community partners, and our expert staff able to train and educate. Without these moments we would be leaving our community vulnerable in the face of trauma.

While many are checking off holiday shopping lists, some of our clients are simply wondering how they’ll celebrate at all. Through our Christmas Compassion Project, you can share the gift of the holidays by sponsoring a child or family—either by shopping for gifts or making a financial contribution. This season, your compassion may be the most meaningful gift they receive. 🎁 https://lnkd.in/g-34TTSB

The 2025 event season has ridden into the sunset as we tip our hats to those who joined us last night at In it to End It Presented by Kimberly-Clark. As Co-Chairs Tasha Tandy and Heather Seymour reminded us in their powerful call to action, the work of the Children & Family Advocacy Center extends far beyond a single evening. We invite you to tour the Center and see firsthand how your gift of time, talent, or resources helps build resilience for children and families impacted by trauma - you will walk the halls through the eyes of a client, sitting in our waiting area, viewing our interview spaces, and pausing at our medical room, knowing that your choice to step into that space has already made an impact. Our events may end with applause, but the call to resilience continues year-round through donors, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners who choose to stand with children and families. It costs $2,000 per child, on average, for a CAC to provide full services—including interviews, medical, along with ongoing advocacy and counseling. Every service provided by the CFAC is offered at no cost to our families. Safety and healing should never come with a price tag, but the reality is that these critical services are being slashed from budgets across the nation. Whether it is through attending an event, bidding in an auction, making a donation, or becoming a recurring donor your gift shows that #CACsAreEssential
