Chicago United mourns the passing of Robert W. MacGregor. Mr. MacGregor served as our first Executive Director from 1973 to 1980. His work laid the foundation of Chicago United’s focus and mission. We extend our deepest sympathies to his wife, family and friends … he will be truly missed.

Chicago United is pleased to announce the promotions of two team members! Luz María Vargas, MA has been promoted to Senior Director of Leadership Development and Organizational Capacity. Her new role leads strategy and execution for member programming, as well as the execution of The Corporate Inclusion Institute and our Business Leaders of Color recognition. Robert Henry has been promoted to Senior Director of Business Development and Engagement. In his expanded role, he has additional responsibility for the recruitment of new companies to participate in the Corporate Inclusion Institute, along with his current responsibility for new member recruitment and engagement.
