Meet Justin! A few months ago, Justin was pedestrian struck and suffered a significant right upper extremity forearm soft tissue injury. He had loss of muscle to the right thumb, index, ring, and small fingers. Following a tendon transfer, Justin began working closely with our Certified Hand Therapists in our Upper Extremity Clinic to fabricate custom orthosis and working towards mobilizing and strengthening his hand for functional use. Now, he’s able to grasp and release his hand for daily routines and continues to benefit from our individualized specialty program to address improving and restoring function of his upper extremity injury.
