Through the Future of Manufacturing Fund, 82% of participants completed training and three out of four earned industry credentials essential for employment in advanced manufacturing. That’s real people gaining real opportunity, and a region strengthening its workforce for the future. She graduated from the Groundwork Ohio Early Childhood Fellowship cohort over the weekend in Columbus. Learning Grove is quite fortunate to have not only a stellar leader in Shelly, but a passionate advocate for children and families. The earlier we support a child’s development, the greater their chance to thrive. But Ohio’s early intervention system is stretched thin, and families are feeling the impact. This article from Groundwork Ohio Early Childhood Fellows, including Learning Grove's own Michelle Shelton (Director of our Early Learning Center in East Walnut Hills) lays bare the urgent need to strengthen services for young children with developmental delays.
