As September — Workforce Development Month 2025 — has come to a close, it's the perfect time to recognize the dedication and impactful work of the Broomfield Workforce Team. Their commitment is a cornerstone of the Broomfield community's economic health, connecting talent with opportunity and supporting both job seekers and local businesses every single day. Throughout September, officially proclaimed Workforce Development Month in Broomfield, the workforce team hosted a series of events, including a virtual career fair and two in-person multi-industry and networking career fairs where over 480 job seekers participated. There were also specialized job readiness workshops held with more than 200 attendees, and two workshops specifically for employers with 20 local employers participating. These initiatives were designed to empower individuals with essential skills, from resume review and interview tips to career guidance, job market information and even how to use AI to enhance job skills. The workforce team's work is driven by a deep understanding that a job is more than just a paycheck; it's an important pathway to purpose and growth for everyone in the community. The Broomfield Workforce Center is a place where job seekers can advance their careers and businesses can thrive. Thank you to the workforce team for the amazing work in building a resilient and prosperous community for all.
