At last night’s regular meeting, the Duarte City Council recognized Aida Torres for her 20 years of service to the City of #Duarte. As a Crime Prevention Specialist, Aida has dedicated her career to empowering young people, strengthening families, and building neighborhoods where residents feel connected and supported. We celebrate Aida Torres not only as a professional leader but also as a neighbor and role model whose compassion and dedication continue to shape Duarte for the better. Thanks to her vision, prevention, opportunity, and care came together here to break cycles of violence and open doors of hope. Duarte is fortunate to call Aida one of its own.
