Earlier this week, the City of Grand Prairie hosted a Brownbag Lunch & Learn with 27 local small businesses. The session offered a deep dive into how businesses can partner with the City, tips for creating a strong capability statement, and an overview of available certification options. The University of Texas at Arlington is teaming up with the City of Grand Prairie to redesign the interiors of the iconic rental cabins at Loyd Park on Joe Pool Lake. This collaboration led our Interior Design faculty and students, reflecting a shared commitment to enhancing community spaces and enriching visitor experiences. The project is part of UTA’s broader mission to engage with local communities through innovative, real-world design solutions.
