The City of Moline is located in the heart of the Midwest, nestled between the banks of the Mississippi and Rock River in Rock Island County, Illinois. Home to 43,768 people, Moline is one of four cities making up the Quad Cities, a metropolitan area of over 350,000 people residing in Moline and Rock Island, Illinois and Bettendorf and Davenport, Iowa. Moline is located approximately 165 miles west of Chicago and midway between Minneapolis to the north and St. Louis to the South. 37.4 million people reside within a 300-mile radius of Moline, which comprises almost 13% of the nation’s population. Moline and its neighbors help form the largest urban concentration between St. Louis and Minneapolis along the Mississippi River. Major interstates I-80, I-88 and I-74 provide ready access in all directions, making the region a preferred location for logistics and distribution facilities.

    🚍 Ribbon Cutting Marks a Milestone at Centre Station 🚍 We joined QC MetroLINK to celebrate the ribbon cutting for the beautifully transformed Centre Station in downtown Moline! The renovations include a refreshed lobby, community mural, upgraded systems and the brand-new Metro Stop café, perfect for quick bites and coffee on the go. 💡 Did you know? Centre Station has a beautiful banquet room available for rental. The celebration was also bittersweet as we honored Jeff Nelson, MetroLINK’s CEO, who will retire at the end of this month after 42 years of leadership in public transportation and community development. We can't thank him enough for his years of service and heart for our community. He's made a lasting mark on Moline and beyond. 💙 #moline #quadcities #tagtheqc

    A huge THANK YOU to our incredible city employees for coming together to support River Bend Food Bank. Through the Moline Care Crew’s first food drive, we collected an amazing 1,703 canned goods to help fight hunger in our community. The Moline Care Crew is a new employee-led group dedicated to organizing initiatives that give back to our community - and what a way to kick things off! This donation wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of employees across all City of Moline facilities. We are so proud and grateful for each and every one of you who contributed. 💙

    ❄️ Introducing Moline’s Snow Angels Program! ❄️ The City of Moline, in partnership with United Way Quad Cities, is excited to launch Snow Angels - a community-driven effort to keep sidewalks safe this winter. Clearing sidewalks after snowfall can be tough for elderly residents or those with disabilities. Snow Angels connects these residents with volunteers who can help ensure safe pathways for pedestrians and schoolchildren. This program is powered by our community’s generosity.
