In early April, our team at the Reynoldsburg Community Center YMCA saved a life! 💙 We're incredibly honored to be recognized by City Of Reynoldsburg yesterday. Thanks to our team's quick thinking, training and teamwork, a life was saved during a critical moment. Their calmness under pressure made all the difference, and we are beyond grateful for their dedication to serving our community. We want to extend our deepest thanks to first responders who arrived on the scene. We also appreciate Mayor of Reynoldsburg, Joe Begeny, and Truro Township Fire Department for their endless work keeping our neighbors safe, and supporting the YMCA's mission. Finally, our staff take CPR + AED Training seriously, and we owe so much to our leaders who regularly train community center staff to be fully prepared for all situations. It's true; not all heroes wear capes!

The Government Finance Officers Association is pleased to announce that City of Reynoldsburg has received GFOA’s Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting (PAFR Award) for its Popular Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2023. The Award represents a significant achievement by the entity. In order to be eligible for the PAFR Award, a government must also submit its annual comprehensive financial report to GFOA’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting Program and receive the Certificate for the current fiscal year. Each eligible report is reviewed by judges who evaluate the report based on the following categories: reader appeal, understandability, distribution methods, creativity and other elements.
