🌏𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮’𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 At Bangkok Climate Action Week 2025, Climate Policy Initiative joined experts from across the region to discuss how Southeast Asia can ensure that the shift to clean energy is fair, inclusive, and people-centered. 💬 Tiza Mafira, Director of CPI Indonesia, shared how Indonesia’s Just Energy Transition Financing Framework helps quantify and equitably distribute the benefits of coal transition, including cleaner power and stronger local economies. 💬 Tariq Habib, Manager at CPI India, highlighted lessons from Jharkhand on mobilising Just Transition Finance Facilities to support green job creation and regional resilience. 💬 Joined by Kalyani Basu (The Carbon Trust) and Donald Eubank (Climate Finance Asia), the panel emphasised collaboration between governments, communities, and investors as key to ensuring no one is left behind in the energy transition.
