For Careers in Construction Month, we’re spotlighting the unique journeys that show there’s no one path to success in this industry. “How It Started vs. How It’s Going”: highlighting the winding roads, growth opportunities and lessons learned along the way. Take Jen Clune’s, Managing Director, National Accounts, story: “I started as an assistant project coordinator on site for an advertising firm Clune was building out and then moved over to an assistant marketing coordinator role… Today I am an MD within the company and have learned that taking on different types of roles and maintaining a high standard of integrity, trustworthiness and ethics can be extremely beneficial to your professional growth and career.” Jen’s 26-year journey is a strong example of how building a career in construction can mean exploring many different roles and opportunities, and how dedication and values help shape a lasting impact. #CareersInConstructionMonth

Wrapping up #ConstructionInclusionWeek with Ace Day of Action. At Clune, we’re proud to support the ACE Mentor Program of America, a national initiative that inspires high school students to explore careers in the AEC industry. Each year, our team members volunteer their time, mentoring future leaders through mock projects, site tours and hands-on experiences that offer a real look at life in construction. Today is the fifth annual #ACEDayofAction, a nationwide celebration bringing together students, mentors, alumni and partners to showcase the program’s impact and drive continued engagement through social campaigns, events and fundraising efforts. Built For Me: “When I first joined Clune, I was an international student new to the country and its culture. I often worried about whether I would ever truly belong, but those worries quickly faded once I became part of Clune.” For Assistant Project Manager Bhakti Narkhede, joining Clune meant finding more than a career; it meant finding community. Surrounded by teammates who welcomed, guided and supported her, Bhakti discovered a culture that values people as much as performance. From fully covered healthcare to time off policies that allow flexibility to connect with family abroad, Clune’s comprehensive benefit offerings reflect a deeper commitment to care, connection and belonging. As we celebrate #ConstructionInclusionWeek, we’re proud to highlight how supporting the whole person helps everyone thrive. Today marks the start of Construction Inclusion Week, dedicated to promoting opportunities across the industry and improving the experience for all construction professionals. This year’s theme, “Opening Doors: Building a Workplace for Everyone,” encourages us to rethink how we attract, welcome and retain talent. To kick off the week, we asked our employees: What makes you feel respected and seen? Check out what they had to say. #ConstructionInclusionWeek #CluneCulture

For Careers in Construction Month, we’re spotlighting the unique journeys that show there’s no one path to success in this industry. “How It Started vs. How It’s Going”: highlighting the winding roads, growth opportunities and lessons learned along the way. Peter Bahruth, STSC, CRIS, Managing Director, General Manager’s, journey started when he was 15, laying floor coverings. In college, he worked in facilities to help cover costs while playing football and later joined Clune as an intern. What began as a plan to prepare for project management turned into a love for the field itself. “Turns out I loved the field. I loved the teamwork and problem-solving,” Peter shares. Over the years, he’s learned that treating people right, staying open to feedback and never quitting on self-improvement are the keys to building not just projects, but a career you’re proud of.
