🚶♀️➡️🚶♂️➡️ Prowadzimy konsultacje na pierwszym z dwóch podwórek objętych projektem Commit2Green. Wraz z Biurem Ochrony Środowiska i Centrum Komunikacji Społecznej m.st. Warszawy rozpoczęliśmy 4 października 2025 roku na terenie podwórka przy ul. Budrysów na Pradze-Południe. Chcemy zaprojektować wspólnie z mieszkańcami podwórko, które będzie funkcjonalne, estetyczne i poprawi jakość życia w okolicy. 📈🌷Naszym celem jest poprawienie bioróżnorodność terenu i jego retencji, oraz uodpornienie okolicy na zmiany klimatu. Zaczęliśmy od rozmów na miejscu i zbierania informacji. Poznajemy potrzeby oraz pomysły osób mieszkających w pobliżu podwórka, a także osób, które z niego korzystają. This week, GreenInCities had the pleasure of participating in NetworkNature EU 2025 in Brussels, representing our work as a European project dedicated to urban greening and renaturing. It was a fantastic opportunity for our 𝐔𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 to connect with sister projects, including ReGreeneration Europe, URBREATH Horizon Europe Project, Commit2Green, and ClimaGen, sharing experiences, challenges, and insights. We were warmly welcomed by CINEA - European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency, with introductions from Mr. Federico Porrà (Adaptation Mission Secretariat, DG RTD) and Ms. Laura Hetel (Cities Mission Secretariat, DG RTD). These #EUMissions are essential in guiding cities toward climate resilience and sustainability, providing frameworks that projects like GreenInCities can help translate into real-life implementation. GreenInCities contributed to a collaborative NbS World Café, followed by a harvesting session and open discussion. Together, we explored key challenges and enabling conditions for integrating NbS into urban and regional planning, as well as frameworks and indicators for monitoring their impact. A special thanks to our PO, Inés Elvira, for her support and guidance, and to the #NetworkNature organisers for hosting us and providing the venue.
