Rear Adm. Jim Waters visited Navy Talent Acquisition Group Rocky Mountain and the Denver Military Entrance Processing Station to kick off a strong week in Navy recruiting. Recruiters at NTAG Rocky Mountain have met or exceeded goals in every category this fiscal year. Denver MEPS continues to support all branches, including the Navy, by swearing in future service members. Denver chief medical officer Dr. Wendy Juhlin was recognized for her leadership in improving the efficiency of the medical enlistment process. Superb visit with NTAG Rocky Mountain and the Denver MEPS Monday and Tuesday. So powerful to directly feel the vibe on the front lines of recruiting. The Rocky Mountain Recruiters have been absolutely killing it!! Not just total number of Recruits, but making mission in every category the entire FY to date…Green across the board…exactly what right looks like!!! My honor to thank them personally and gain some helpful insights from their experience. The Denver MEPS is also firing on all cylinders in close partnership with our team. Grateful to them for providing the opportunity to swear in future Service Members from all services…including several Future Sailors😎🫡 I was also super impressed with the Denver Chief Medical Officer, Dr Wendy Juhlin, and her drive to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of her critical piece of the enlistment process! Thank You!! And T his was only the start of a great week in Navy Recruiting!! #WinnersWin!

132 Years of Anchored Leadership On April 1, we celebrate the 132nd birthday of the Chief Petty Officer—more than a rank, it’s a legacy. Since 1893, Chiefs have stood as the backbone of our Navy: leaders, mentors, and warriors forged by experience and anchored in excellence. As we honor this milestone, we remember those who came before us and recommit to the standard they set. Lead with purpose. Mentor with heart. Navy Chief, Navy Pride! #CPOBirthday #132Years #AnchoredInExcellence #NavyChief #ForgedByTheSea US Navy MyNavyHR Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) Naval Education and Training Command Naval Station Great Lakes Naval Station Great Lakes

It’s always a privilege to engage with international partners and exchange insights on recruiting strategies. A recent visit from Rear Admiral Jude Terry, the Royal Navy’s Director of People & Training and Naval Secretary, provided a great opportunity to share ideas, showcase our recruiting operations, and highlight the hard work of our dedicated recruiters. Collaboration and knowledge-sharing across allied forces strengthen our collective ability to attract and develop top talent. The passion, expertise, and commitment to people-focused leadership made this discussion both insightful and inspiring.
