From her early years as a teacher to her tenure in the U.S. House of Representatives and as Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, Rep. Kilpatrick exemplified servant leadership and a steadfast commitment to equity. Her creation of the Sojourner Truth Legacy Project under CBCF continues to empower Black women leaders nationwide.
