About us
Our vision for Mablethorpe and Skegness is that they will make their distinctive contributions to a Connected Coast, renewed and refreshed as settlements through a programme which: diversifies their economies, builds their skills base and establishes them as national test beds for future living and natural resource management. They will become places where positive ageing, a cutting edge approach to tourism and innovation around energy and water management turn current weaknesses into nationally significant strengths.

Today is Lincolnshire Day and what better day to celebrate the work we're proud to be involved in in #mablethorpe and #skegness In Mablethorpe, we now have two amazing new facilities in the Station Leisure & Learning Centre and Campus for Future Living offering more resources and opportunities for the town which is also benefitting from improvements on the high street. In Sutton-on-Sea, the Seaview Colonnade has opened its doors this summer and welcomed people in. And, then there's Sandilands where work is now underway on the new visitor hub: all of these projects have been supported by the Towns Fund. And in Skegness, the fantastic new Skegness College is going to offer so many more opportunities for learning in the town, whilst the Embassy Theatre has been transformed making visits even better. And then there's the improvements to buildings in the town centre, Tower Gardens, the railway station, and more.... But there's more to come still! Both Skegness and Mablethorpe are set to benefit from around £20M each in coming years. We think that's certainly a lot to celebrate this Lincolnshire Day! 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉

Roof works have begun at Spilsby Sessions House. Essential roofing works have begun at Spilsby Sessions House. These repairs will help weatherproof the building as we move into Winter to allow temperatures to regulate throughout the building and prevent further damage to the building. Repairing a timber-framed roof and re-slating is a complex process that requires expertise in both carpentry and roofing. The process can be broken down into two main stages: repairing the timber structure and then re-slating the roof. You can find out more about the roof work at Spilsby Sessions House in more detail on our dedicated website here – https://lnkd.in/e3SSJ9FF Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government Connected Coast Messenger BCR Group - Messenger Construction Ltd, Messenger Building Repairs Ltd Sam Bevin Pranali Parikh Fred Markland Rebecca Harris Sadie Russell MCIPR
