📢 We're Hiring: Middle Office Manager We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Middle Office Manager to join our growing team. This is a key control role that ensures accurate and efficient trade capture, position, and P&L reporting, as well as onboarding new business units and traders. As a Middle Office Manager, you will collaborate closely with traders, logistics, finance, and risk teams to ensure trade accuracy, control risk, and improve process efficiency. This position plays a vital role in facilitating communication between the commercial and control teams and in providing timely reports to Senior Management. 🛠️ Skills: 🔹Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability 🔹Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across departments 🔹Analytical mindset with solid organizational and multitasking skills 🔹Strong Excel and ERP/CRM system skills (e.g., SAP, Navision) 🔹Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment 🔹Ability to set up and run processes independently 🔹Ability to train and manage teams 🎓 Requirements: 🔹Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field 🔹Prior experience in commodity or chemical trading environments 🔹Familiarity with international trade documentation, Incoterms, and logistics 🔹Familiarity with Financial Markets and exchange-traded products 🔹Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel preferred 🔹Knowledge of trade finance and compliance processes is a plus 🔹A second language is a strong advantage 📌 Responsibilities: 🔹Oversee trade execution processes to ensure timely, accurate, and complete booking 🔹Validate and reconcile trade entries between the Firm’s records and external systems 🔹Monitor inventory levels, shipment schedules, and trade positions 🔹Support daily and monthly P&L, exposure, and risk reporting 🔹Ensure timely contract issuance, amendments, and customer confirmations 🔹Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational and financial discrepancies 🔹Maintain accurate records for audit, compliance, and regulatory purposes 🔹Support initiatives to improve traders and middle office workflows and automation 🔹Serve as a key liaison between traders, finance, and operations departments 🌟 If you or someone you know would be an excellent fit for this role, feel free to contact me with any questions or referrals.
