Strong youth, empowered survivors, safe families.
About us
Cornerstone’s continuum of service helps to create communities where individuals and families are safe and children thrive. We advocate, educate and lead the way to social change. Cornerstone’s ultimate goal is to reduce the prevalence of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking and general crime. Safe and stable futures are possible when we coordinate an effective crisis response, implement trauma-informed support services, mitigate the impact of violence on children and youth, and confront the roots of violence.

We greatly appreciate supporters in our community.⚾ - TWO MEN AND A TRUCK's national giving program, Movers for Moms, collects donations to deliver to women’s and family shelters each spring. They partner with local businesses, schools, and other organizations to collect essential care items, such as soap, shampoo, diapers, wipes, and more.

"Crime victim services are vital to Minnesota’s public safety infrastructure. These services not only contribute to the safety and security of our communities, but they also contribute to the restoration of economic health and emotional wellness for victims and their families who have been affected by violence and crime... We urge continued leadership to ensure we don’t leave victims, and therefore hope for a better future, behind." Read more about how crime victim services and current funding is in jeopardy: https://lnkd.in/gj9ZuTna Written by Cornerstone's Executive Director, Artika Roller, and Hennepin County Sheriff, Dawanna Witt. #CrimeVictimServices #PublicSafety #Funding

Cornerstone Advocacy Service reposted this
Opinion: Crime victim services need a long-term funding solution I appreciate the support from our legislators for crime victim services. While their commitment to ensuring victims and survivors receive the help, safety, and stability they need is commendable, we need everyone, including cities, counties, and the state—to strengthen their investment. A special thank you to Sheriff Dawanna Witt for her partnership on the op-ed published in the Star Tribune. Her leadership and dedication to advocating for long-term solutions are inspiring.
