This is Cyber Security Awareness Month but at COUNTRY Financial, we see each day as an opportunity to stay vigilant. Farming safety is always important - but especially during harvest. Peoria County Farm Bureau Manager Charlie Hensley joined financial advisor with COUNTRY Financial David Vaughn to share important safety tips for farm operators and the public who share the roads with farmers. The pair also are planning a "Feed-A-Farmer" event upcoming in October - part of a multi-state expression of appreciation for farmers and their hard work this time of year.

With guidance from her COUNTRY Financial® mentor, José Manuel Pérez, Ariana Rider turned her big goals into reality—earning her associate degree before high school graduation and now pursuing an advanced degree at Texas State University. Recently, COUNTRY Financial representative Casey Holevoet joined McLean County Farm Bureau Manager Anna Z. to discuss the importance of life insurance for families and farmers. They detail how the coverage is the ultimate act of caring for those depending on you. For farm operators, life insurance can help ensure the family farm continues for generations to come.

We continue our celebration of 100 years in business at COUNTRY Financial. Given our deep roots in agriculture, it makes sense we would include a family farm in this year's festivities. Adam Rader with Rader Family Farms joins Sarah Franzen, Corporate Impact Specialist, to discuss the unique partnership including a giant corn maze and other seasonal surprises for COUNTRY Financial employees and the community.

Stay curious and embrace the road less traveled. These wise words and other experiences were shared with Academy members as part of an evening with Rob McDade, COUNTRY Financial® Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer. Rob detailed his 30-year journey with the company, sharing how many times, career opportunities necessitate that insurance and risk professionals embrace challenges well outside their comfort zones. Mackenzie Cannon, MBA, College Relations Coordinator, also encouraged students to consider the wide variety of job opportunities in the insurance and risk profession.
