Who doesn’t love breakfast for dinner? This month, our team served up croissant french toast bake, quiche, breakfast sausage, and more for families at Ronald McDonald House Charities, Upper Midwest! Opportunities like this remind us how meaningful it is to give back together. A big thank you to MPG Give Back for helping us support our community while growing stronger as a team. 💛 #BetterTogether

Best Buy just delivered its strongest comp sales growth in 3 years, powered by hot demand in gaming + mobile. Online sales rose 5%, making up nearly 1/3 of U.S. revenue. The retailer also rolled out a new third-party marketplace, bringing even more brands + products to its site. Still, despite topping Wall Street’s expectations, Best Buy is holding onto its cautious full-year outlook—citing tariff pressures.

Kohl’s surprised Wall Street in Q2, posting stronger profits and revenue than expected. Earnings landed at $0.56 per share, about $0.26 above analyst forecasts, with revenue reaching $3.55B. Owned brands continued to outperform, Sephora at Kohl’s completed its rollout, and new impulse checkout lines helped drive a 30% lift in the category. Shares jumped more than 20% on the results.

Target delivered signs of recovery in the second quarter of 2025, with net sales of $25.2 billion declining just 0.9 percent year-over-year—a nearly two-point improvement from the steeper decline reported in the first quarter. Comparable sales decreased 1.9 percent, driven by a 3.2 percent decline in stores, partially offset by 4.3 percent growth in digital channels. Digital performance was fueled by more than 25 percent growth in same-day delivery through Target Circle 360, while the company’s advertising business, Roundel, and marketplace sales continued to deliver double-digit growth—reflecting strong momentum in building diversified revenue streams alongside core retail operations. The quarter also marked a leadership transition, with Michael Fiddelke appointed as Target’s next Chief Executive Officer. Looking ahead, the company remains confident in its strategy to drive growth, deepen guest loyalty, and strengthen its position as a leader in modern retail.
