  • We had a blast at the 2026 Square 2 Square fall ride. As a Pit Stop Sponsor, we helped bike riders refuel on their 30+ mile journey from Fayetteville to Bentonville, including several cyclists from the Crafton Tull family. One notable rider was our firm's retired co-founder Bob Crafton. At 91-years-old, Bob cruised on his e-trike to complete his first Square 2 Square ride. Thanks for the inspiration, Bob! And kudos to all the riders!

  • Our team had a great time hosting a bike tour last week for the American Society of Civil Engineers, Northwest Arkansas Branch. Thank you to everyone that came out to learn about and experience first-hand some of the recent investments made by the City of Rogers, Arkansas in bicycle and pedestrian facilities. And shout out to our friends at Laneshift for guiding the crew safely along the route.

  • We had a great time at the 2025 Arkansas Recreation & Parks Association Conference! We shared some insights, spent time with incredible parks and recreation leaders from across the state, and even took home some hardware. Congratulations to Pulaski County Government for the inclusive Two Rivers Park Playground, winner of Outdoor Facility Over $500,000, and to the City of Conway for the Conway Community Center, winner of Indoor Facility Over $5 Million. Crafton Tull also led a fun 7-mile guided bike tour through downtown Fort Smith, while our own Dave Roberts presented Public Speaking 101 for Leadership and Ryan Hale of Laneshift shared Designing Communities that Move: Trail Planning and Design. We always love celebrating, connecting, and collaborating at this great event each year. Thank to everyone who puts in the work behind the scenes to make it happen!

  • This year, our firm continued investing in active transportation in new and exciting ways. ➡️ We welcomed the Laneshift team and the important work they do into the Crafton Tull family. ➡️ We invested in a new recreation station called The Brake Room at our Rogers campus to benefit our employee-owners. ➡️ And, of course, we continued our work developing bicycle and pedestrian master plans and designing and engineering trails and parks across the region. Why? Our core mission is to improve communities. We believe active transportation has the power to help communities thrive. Walking, running, biking, and rolling is not just a way to get around. It’s a culture and a mindset that can unlock opportunities for economic growth, enhance safety, create connectedness, and improve our overall health. Thanks to the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal and Talk Business & Politics for this great story on our firm’s commitment to active transportation. • The Arkansas River Trail is one of Central Arkansas’ most beloved community amenities, stretching more than 40 miles for walkers, runners, and cyclists. 🌿🚴🏃 But even great trails need a little care. With funding from an ArDOT Recreational Trails Program grant, the City of Little Rock partnered with Crafton Tull to rehabilitate a segment of trail at Two Rivers Park. Our team designed and prepared construction documents for resurfacing 7,500 feet of trail, adding fresh asphalt and new centerline striping to improve safety and reduce bicycle–pedestrian conflicts. Careful coordination with Pulaski County Government ensured smooth access to the site, and now this trail segment is smoother, safer, and ready for a fall ride or stroll.

  • The Brake Room at our Rogers office gives our employee-owners access to: ➡️ bike storage ➡️ e-bike charging stations ➡️ bike maintenance tools ➡️ lockers, showers, and restrooms It’s also where we keep our shared e-bikes, which our people can checkout for quick travel to local meetings. Along with The Brake Room, Crafton Tull self-funded a small sidewalk project, working with the City of Rogers, Arkansas to use public right of way to connect our Rogers campus to the Railyard Loop through a quiet, safe neighborhood. We believe in the power of active transportation and it’s one of the most impactful ways we’re investing in the health and wellness of our employee-owners. Prism Design Studio Laneshift

  • Crafton Tull is proud to invest in the next generation of surveyors through a new $2,000 annual scholarship at the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton . The scholarship is exclusive to UACCM surveying students who meet a GPA of at least 3.0 and based on financial need, as well as faculty and staff recommendations. The investment is split into a $1,000 scholarship for each of the fall and spring semesters. “Our company has a long-standing relationship with UACCM,” said CEO Matt Crafton. “We know the survey teachers at UACCM offer great instruction to the students there, so it was an easy decision for Crafton Tull to support the program.” Crafton Tull has 26 UACCM alumni currently on our team, with many of them from the surveying program. Several of our UACCM graduates, including Logan Killer, Lane Housley, Brandon Resecker, Jonathan Hamner, and Jeremy Lawson, shared how UACCM shaped their careers and how a scholarship like this can make all the difference for students balancing financial hurdles with big goals.
