At Cramer, we prioritize understanding the brand, and by extension, its audience. Understanding the audience is an integral part of our process for partnering with clients to elevate their event experience. For Vimeo REFRAME, we took a unique approach by taking the audience behind the scenes. Giving A/V, video, tech, and creative pros a glimpse of 'backstage' to create an immersive experience from the very beginning of the conference. Our EVP Scott Connolly shares his perspective on how this year’s IBM Think event demonstrated the power of continuity for audiences when creating brand experiences.
At IBM Think 2025, the brand leaned into familiarity as a feature, not a flaw. When experiences evolve instead of reset, returning attendees can feel more connected, not less. Allowing returning attendees to skip the learning curve and jump straight into meaningful conversations is why IBM continues to be a leader for their partners and businesses that rely on their solutions. Here's some of my thoughts on how this year's event embraced continuity as a strategy for engagement that continues to place IBM as a leader in their industry.

It was a pleasure being able to cohost this event with Bizzabo and Sessionboard in New York City. Looking forward to continuing the conversation!
Connection is everything. 🤝 🍸 At Bizzy Building Connections: A Cocktail Experience for Event Leaders, we brought together 100 event pros, customers, and partners for a night of real conversations, new relationships, and a few unexpected surprises (who knew The Gilded Age would come up so often?). 🌆 Set high above the city at The Skylark, with a view as unforgettable as the guest list, the evening reminded us what happens when you put the right people in the right room and with the right cocktails, of course. Thank you to our amazing sponsors, Cramer and Sessionboard, for helping bring the experience to life. And a huge shoutout to our stellar speakers: 🎤 Moderator: Mark Wilson, Chief Creative Officer, Cramer 💬 Panelists: Charlene Chen, EVP, Insight Partners Nathan Nickens, Divisional Director, Customer Management Practice (who gracefully stepped in last minute when Katherine Tooley was unfortunately subject to the perils of the New Jersey Transit Authority) Here’s to more moments like this, where great minds meet, connections spark, and you leave with both new contacts and a new TV show to binge. Want to be on the invite for the next one (looking at you, San Francisco and Chicago), let us know 👇
