As we close out Hispanic Heritage Month, music agents Omar Garcia and Rudy Lopez Negrete join our Open Mic series to discuss the latest trends driving the Latin Music market.
Looking back on an incredible Hispanic Heritage Month at CAA with Sí Se Puede, CAA’s employee resource group for Latin and Hispanic identifying colleagues and allies. Members began the month with an exclusive screening of KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN, followed by a Q&A with client and star Tonatiuh, in partnership with CAA Foundation and the National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP). They then hosted an annual heritage market in our Los Angeles office featuring local vendors, and wrapped up the month with a mixer to build community and connections. Thanks to all colleagues who joined and to our ERG leaders for spearheading a special month of programming!
Congratulations to our colleagues and friends Macquarie Clark, Omar Garcia, and Rudy Lopez Negrete on being named to Billboard’s 2025 Latin Music Power Players list! 🏆 The annual list celebrates executives who are driving the business forward in revolutionary ways and expanding what was once a niche market into international stardom. https://lnkd.in/dR2xMTxQ
Matthew O'Donohoe, President of CAA Sports International, sat down with SportsPro's Sam Carp to discuss his professional journey and the company's international growth. As one of the first employees in CAA’s London office in 2011, Matthew now oversees a business that has grown to nearly 700 people and is diversifying well beyond the realm of athlete representation. CAA Sports is a leader across many facets of the sports industry, including media rights, sponsorship sales, brand consulting, executive search, management consulting, and venue development. The discussion explores Matthew’s personal tactics for success, the importance of leadership, and role of acquisitions as CAA Sports International looks ahead to the future. https://lnkd.in/eqBQDt3c From left: CAA Sports co-head Mike Levine, F1 chief executive Stefano Domenicali, CAA Sports International president Matthew O’Donohoe and CAA Sports president Paul Danforth
We’re Evolving the Way Brands Value Women’s Sports. Brands are increasingly turning to women’s sports, and rightfully so. But many still rely on outdated valuation models that miss the mark. At CAA Brand Consulting, we’ve updated the playbook, valuing not just media impressions, but athlete IP, cultural relevance, and community impact. From brand storytelling to grassroots engagement, we help brands think bigger and invest smarter. This Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re highlighting CAA’s Chief Data Officer André Michel Vargas, who shares insights on the global impact of Latino audiences and why representation matters.
CAA client, V, the Tony Award-winning playwright formerly known as Eve Ensler, has created a new project titled THIS IS CRAZY! which will be mounted as a one-night-only production in New York as a benefit for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in honor of beloved talent manager, Chris Huvane. Starring Jane Fonda, Sanaa Lathan, Mark Ruffalo, Marisa Tomei, and more, THIS IS CRAZY! is produced by Ruth-Ann Huvane, a longtime mental health advocate and NAMI national board member. All proceeds will support NAMI's mission to ensure that people affected by mental health conditions, and their families, receive the care and community they deserve, while also advancing suicide prevention efforts nationwide. Tickets for the October 6th performance at NYC’s Symphony Space are available now at the link below. https://lnkd.in/e-WveXWj
