About us
The Creative Circle Awards is the first marketing awards in Britain, founded in 1945, registered and owned by the UK creative community. We celebrate the best creative work in marketing communications. With an ever-evolving collective of over 600 judges from creative departments across the country. Any working creative can register and be involved in the judging process marking the Creative Circle the fairest in the land. All our talent categories are free to enter. The Creative Circle pledges 10% of all award fees and 100% of membership fees to the Creative Foundation charity that supports young emerging creatives with education and maintenance fees. Every two years a new President is elected by the outgoing President. The President elects the Forepersons to each of the 7 Gold juries. They also present the annual Presidents award to their chosen recipient and also choses from all the Gold winners which entry wins the biggest award of the Gold of Golds.

Huge thanks to Creative Circle Awards for inviting me to be part of this year’s jury. We got to review some brilliant work, laugh a lot, and survive after eating a questionable number of croissants. A few quick learnings that might help with future entries: 1. Everything you send gets watched. If you overload your entry with repetitive assets, you risk losing attention. If you send too little, there might not be enough to properly evaluate it. Aim for balance. 2. The entry text gets read out loud. Some were crafted beautifully. Others, less so. Give it love, it matters. 3. New storytelling formats are welcome. Not every case needs to follow the traditional problem-solution-results template. When the narrative fits the idea, not the format, it stands out. Thanks again for having me Jeremy Green, Dina Green, Magdalena Salawa. Jeremy Green told us he once witnessed a full-on fistfight in a judging room. This lovely bunch kept it civil, hitting each other only with passionate opinions. We were floored only by the quality of creativity and the sandwiches provided were tastier than the knuckle variety. Thanks to Creative Circle Awards for putting me in the ring.
