Join a network of creative activists to create a more just, caring & sustainable world through impact storytelling.
About us
Creative Visions creates a more caring, just and sustainable world through creative activism - the power of media, art and education to drive positive change. Creative Visions empowers creative activists worldwide to raise awareness of critical issues and drive positive change through impact storytelling. The term "creative activist" was first coined by Kathy Eldon after her son Dan Eldon, an artist, adventurer and activist was killed in Somalia in 1993 while working as a photojournalist on assignment for Reuters. To honor his legacy, Kathy and her daughter Amy, founded Creative Visions in 1998 to help others like Dan use media and arts to create meaningful change around the world. A 501(c)(3) and United Nations NGO, Creative Visions is a global force for creative action. Creative Visions manages a powerful network of activists, artists, filmmakers, advisors and organizations. We also host convenings and strategic gatherings both in-person and online to connect people, raise awareness and inspire action. Learn more about Creative Visions at www.creativevisions.org

Creative Visions is thrilled to announce that we will be the new home of @StudentsRebuild, a powerful program created by and previously housed under the Bezos Family Foundation. Students Rebuild is a ready-made adventure in global learning through art that engages the whole student and helps change the world. Students Rebuild teams have created over 7 million pieces of art, which have generated over $15.6 million for folks making a difference worldwide—from rebuilding schools in Haiti and Japan after earthquakes to welcoming refugees worldwide and addressing climate change. We are excited to grow Students Rebuild alongside the thousands of youth who have taken action on vital issues to date. Together, we’re unstoppable. Let’s continue to create, inspire, and make a difference! 🎨✨ Click here to read more! https://lnkd.in/gzvM4vhb
