🔵𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘁’𝗹 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗔 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘🔵 ✈️ Throughout years upon years of ongoing terminal modernization projects at Tampa International Airport (TPA), leadership was acutely aware that passenger screening checkpoints in two of its four Airside terminals were in dire need of attention. 🏢 Under the direction of the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority, the project added roughly 20,000 square feet of new space to each airside area (slightly more in Airside A, slightly less in Airside E). 🏗 From the beginning of construction in September 2023 to Airside E’s opening in March 2025 and Airside A’s opening in April 2025, safety and security served as focal points for the concurrent design/build projects. The latest issue of AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT Magazine has arrived, featuring Tampa International Airport’s recent renovations to Terminals A and E. These upgrades were designed to enhance the security checkpoint experience and improve overall passenger flow. We’re proud to have been selected as the floor covering for this project at Tampa International Airport (TPA). Using solution-dyed Zeftron nylon in a custom Wilton weave, this carpet is built for airport settings. It is incredibly durable for high-traffic areas and colorfast for light-filled spaces. Bloomsburg Carpet Industries weaves broadloom carpet for a wide range of installations, from residential interiors to high-performance commercial environments. We are proud to support the A&D Community as a trusted American Manufacturer. This project brought together a range of talented contributors, and we’re honored to be included among them: Suffolk Construction, AECOM, KENPAT, Auzmet, Crisdel Group, Inc., Analogic & APG Electric, LLC.
