A team led by CSD’s Dan Ferris and Food Outreach's Sydney Gosik has launched a pilot to support the nutritional needs of cancer patients as they transition off a medically tailored meal program.   Funded by #WashUACCERT, the pilot is a collaboration with Food Outreach to develop and test a “step-down” nutrition model that provides continued support as clients transition out of meal services. The pilot aims to reduce the risks and effects associated with food insecurity after treatment.
