Happy Monday! Here is this week’s :60 Seconds for Safety message. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲, 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿. At times it’s not possible to see everything going on around you. When this is the case, you need to depend on a colleague to be your spotter. Spotters are always required when you’re operating equipment, but it’s a joint effort. Confirm the hand signals and communication methods that they’ll use and take a walk around the area to check for trip hazards and clear them before the vehicle moves.
