🌟 Board of Directors Spotlight: Giving Back and Honoring Legacy at University of Colorado Boulder 🌟 Proud to highlight Brian Dolan, board member since 2021, and his wife Kathy, a true CU family! Brian spent formative years at CU Boulder before graduating from Stanford and completing law school there. Kathy graduated first in her MBA class from the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business, daughter Leslie Stratton graduated from CU Law, and daughter Elizabeth Dolan pursued a Masters in Journalism at CU.   To honor Kathy’s academic achievements, the Dolan family created a fund recognizing the top Leeds MBA graduate each June, awarding $5,000 to celebrate their hard work and achievement.   Brian’s commitment also honors mentors like Clyde Martz, former Davis, Graham & Stubbs colleague, and CU Law professor. The Dolans support the annual Martz Symposium on Public Lands, hosted by the Getches-Wilkinson Center for Natural Resources, Energy, and the Environment, convening experts, Tribal leaders, and advocates from across the spectrum. “We are very grateful for Brian’s support and his vision in making the Martz Symposium a successful and impactful piece of our portfolio of work here at GWC”, says Chris Winter, Executive Director of the center. *️⃣ Board of Director Spotlight *️⃣ Creating Opportunities, Building Legacies at the University of Colorado Boulder! Heidi L. Wagner, J.D., a 2nd-generation CU grad, knows firsthand how transformative a Washington, D.C. internship can be. Her experience as a college senior changed the trajectory of her life. Now, as a senior VP at ElevateBio and a dedicated University of Colorado Foundation Board of Director, she's helping College of Communication, Media, Design and Information students access similar life-changing opportunities through the Heidi L. Wagner CMCI in D.C. Program. Thanks to Wagner's generous endowment and hands-on leadership, students from advertising, journalism, and more are gaining real-world experience in D.C. - regardless of financial barriers. "If the barriers aren't eliminated, then there are all kinds of reasons not to do it. So, if we can eliminate those barriers, let's do it."
