Yesterday we launched Howler Cell. Proud of what Brian Hussey, Steve Meckl, and Josh Wyatt built here. They're solving a problem that's been around too long. The gap between seeing a threat and stopping it is where organizations lose. Howler Cell closes that gap by unifying threat intelligence, offensive security, and forensics into one motion. No more delayed cycles. No more waiting for threats to arrive before we act. Just proactive intelligence that becomes operational defense. First to warn. Last to leave. 🎙️Had a great conversation with Chris Schueler, CEO of Cyderes, on the latest Security Matters podcast. From building the U.S. Army’s first SOC at 25 to stepping into a ‘Shark’s’ shoes at Cyderes, Chris shares how accountability and a practitioner’s mindset drive real progress in cybersecurity. We dig into the realities of identity security today: privilege creep, the explosion of machine identities, and how AI is reshaping both defense and attack strategies. Chris brings a practitioner’s edge to big challenges. If you care about identity, risk, and the future of security, give this episode a listen. There’s nothing like bringing the team together in person to spark energy and fresh ideas! This week, Cyderes’ marketing leadership gathered face-to-face to align on strategy, share insights, and set the tone for a BIG 2026. We’re amped for what’s ahead—stay tuned.

    VP, Growth Marketing @Cyderes #BeEverydayReady

This week, our Cyderes marketing leadership team came together in Grand Rapids, many meeting in person for the first time. Our goal was simple: to build trust, level set, and leave aligned... and we did exactly that! Over two days, we learned more about ourselves and each other through the Enneagram, defined our Q4 priorities, and reconnected on what it means to show up as one team. On Day 2, Risa Janzen from Method Q joined us to strengthen our marketing operations fundamentals and ensure our systems and data are built for scale. We see you, 2026, and we'll be ready for you!! I left feeling proud and energized, not just by what we accomplished, but by the way this team is showing up for each other. We’re building something special, leveling up, and ensuring our culture is grounded in trust, clarity, and readiness. To anyone feeling “too busy” to stop and plan, don’t wait. Take the time to pause, reflect, and realign. You won’t regret it. The more intentional the work feels, the more productive we are. What happens when trust, intuition, and identity collide? In this latest 20 Minute MBA podcast with host Jeff Hopeck, our CEO Chris Schueler dives into how cybersecurity leaders can "trust their gut" when signals get noisy — and why identity-first strategies help you make better calls under pressure. Give it a listen here: https://lnkd.in/gKYNM2cR

What’s the best piece of advice I’ve received? Trust your gut. This simple truth has carried me through the military, on the bike, and now in cybersecurity. It also happens to fit my Enneagram type (an 8, the Challenger). For me “challenging” isn’t about resisting for the sake of it. It’s about asking the hard questions. How can we shift the status quo, break industry norms, and do our work smarter, better, and faster? As I approach my one-year anniversary at Cyderes, I’m grateful to be leading a team where that mindset isn’t just welcomed, it’s encouraged. We’re challenging ourselves and the industry leading to real growth and innovation. I recently had the opportunity to reflect on my story with @Jeff Hopeck on his 20 Minute MBA podcast. It’s a good reminder to lead with our instincts and to trust ourselves. That ethos can take us further than we imagine.
