☀️ Big news on this Monday! We're excited to announce the financial close and construction start of Ostrea Solar, a 104MW solar project in Yakima County, Washington—our first to reach this milestone in the state! Ostrea will generate enough clean energy to power up to 16,000 Washington homes annually—advancing the state’s renewable energy goals and creating approximately 250 construction jobs along the way. A huge thank you to our financing partners—MUFG Bank, BNP Paribas, DNB Bank ASA, Santander, and U.S. Bank—and PCL Construction for helping bring this project to life. We were honored this week to send several of our team members to our nation's capitol with American Clean Power Association (ACP) for Clean Power on the Hill to tell our country's political decision makers about the critical work they do in renewable energy. A big thank you to Rep. William Timmons for his all the above energy leadership. The congressman joined us along with Conservatives for Clean Energy – South Carolina, and leaders from Pine Gate Renewables, Cypress Creek Renewables, Strata Clean Energy, EPC Power Corp, and Fluence for a fantastic energy roundtable in Spartanburg! We had thoughtful conversations about the state’s growing clean energy economy, federal tax incentives that are fueling job creation and investment, and the importance of reliable, affordable, American-made power. Clean energy is more than an industry — it’s an engine for economic growth and energy security here in the Palmetto State. The future is bright for South Carolina!

Recently we, along with Cypress Creek Solutions had the incredible opportunity to support Vets to Drones with a donation of UAS equipment to aid their disaster response and veteran training programs. These tools will back their mission to prepare veterans to enter the commercial drone industry while helping the nonprofit map damage from Hurricane Helene and support rebuilding efforts in Western North Carolina through the Appalachian Rebuild Project. Just finished an incredible and rewarding Kaizen week with our extended CCS team in Durham! Over 80 team members came together to tackle key challenges and uncover opportunities for our customers and the CCR fleet. Couldn’t have asked for a better group to collaborate and problem-solve with. The week was even more impactful with insightful leadership discussions led by Brian Case and Tim Fredericksen, along with great conversations with colleagues from across the business.
