This achievement follows a rigorous survey and reflects a 49% reduction in findings — a direct result of a proactive approach to patient safety and clinical excellence. At DaVita Kidney Care, our greatest innovation isn’t a technology or a program—it’s our people. Each year at our national #Villagewide meeting, we review our clinical strategy and how we’ll continue raising the standard of care for our patients. It underscores a truth we see across healthcare: meaningful progress starts with the people closest to the patient. The dedication of our caregivers—those who support patients through dialysis, transplant journeys, education and whole‑person care—is what moves us forward. Their compassion and expertise are driving better outcomes, better experiences, and a better future for those we serve. I’m deeply grateful for every teammate who makes this possible and energized for what we will accomplish together in the year ahead. This month marks one year since the Eaton Canyon wildfires swept across the Los Angeles area, a moment that underscored how essential uninterrupted healthcare becomes in times of crisis. When the fires created uncertainty and widespread disruption, teams across the region worked to keep patients connected to the care and support they depend on — securing safe treatment locations, coordinating transportation, and ensuring access to medical and emotional resources in an effort to maintain stability for those affected. This experience highlighted the value of strong preparedness and community resilience — both of which are critical to ensuring that care remains accessible, even in challenging circumstances. Last month, the DaVita Village Giving Foundation hosted a special breakfast to honor 25 years of partnership, volunteerism, and community impact. We were proud to bring together more than 130 community leaders and DaVita teammates to reflect on our shared history and the difference we’ve made—and continue to make—across the communities we serve. Early detection is the first critical step in helping prevent chronic diseases. In 2025, #DaVita collaborated with American Diabetes Association, YMCA of the USA and Bridge of Life to bring no-cost health screenings, education and access to sustainable health services to local communities.   This collaboration allowed us to meet people where they are, building the trust needed to address interconnected conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and kidney disease.
